Dependent Variable

A Dependent Variable is the variable you're trying to predict or explain. Its value depends on the other variables, called independent variables.

In machine learning, it's the target or label a model learns to predict, and the independent variables are the input features. For example, when predicting house prices, the price is the dependent variable, and features like floor area and location are the independent variables.
