JSON-RPC represents named remote procedure calls as JSON objects.
JSON-RPC is a remote procedure call protocol that represents requests and responses as JSON objects. Unlike a REST API, it usually sends named method calls to one endpoint instead of mapping operations to HTTP methods and resource URLs.
